Before upholstery cleaning
- Check care labels where available
- Identify fabric and construction
- Test colour stability
- Inspect wear, stains and prior damage
- Protect surrounding floors and furniture
- Agree on cushions and included surfaces
Drying and use
Cushions and seams may retain moisture longer than open fabric. Maintain airflow and do not use the furniture until it is appropriately dry.
Some materials need specialist care
Delicate natural fibres, unstable dyes, leather, suede and damaged fabric may require a specialist method or may not suit wet cleaning.
